| Bruno - Pit Bull |
![]() |
Bruno was saved from an isolator, where he was to be destroyed. Abandoned.
He went through foster homes, being cured for a long period as his health condition was bad. Found plenty of new friends – helping him so that he has future – o many people wanted that he succeeds. And here the luck came – he was adopted. Finally he had his home.
Alas, a year has passed and Bruno was again out. Not because he is bad, not because he is doing trouble, no – not his fault. Just allergy to animals. The dog had to leave.
Again – foster homes. Again he had to undergo treatment – this time for his soul.
Now he is taken care of by animal behaviorists. They are working with him and the results are visible – the dog is calm, balanced and obedient.
Bruno is about 4 years of age. Big and strong. In excellent health condition. He is neutered. Perfect with people, even the ones he sees for the first time. He can communicate with non-dominating dogs. Not with cats. He has lived with children and is absolutely reliable with them. Kind-hearted and loyal. Affectionate – as a real pit-bull. He is not dominant in any way.
Bruno needs love, care and understanding. His human must be clear that the dog is energetic and strong – he needs a good moving regimen, a strong and just leader.
We are looking for a safe home for Bruno. He is awaiting for so long.
The dog is NOT for you though if:
You are not patient.
You are not perseverant.
Your life is not dynamic and physically active – Bruno is not for you.
If you want a strong dog just to be “cool”.
If you do not want your dog to get along with strangers.
If you want your dog to play with all dogs while out.
If you want a guard – dog.
If you want a yard – dog.
If a high level of energy dog tires you – then Bruno is not for you.
If you simply want to hug this “cutie”.
If you think that the walks are all the care it takes.
If you do not want to deal with obedience, learning new things, strengthening the already learned – then Bruno is not for you.
Having a Pit-bull is a way of life:
Discipline
Work
Patience
AND SO MUCH LOVE.

| Buck |

Buck is a Bulgarian stray, about 3 years of age. He is neutered, vaccinated. He was taken care of by a person who passed away. After, other good people took care of him in an industrial yard. However, the owners of the company where the yard is change, new clients come, and the strays become an obstacle. We moved him in a hotel to prevent his killing. He looks like a German Shepard – Rott mix and he also behaves like one: his temperament is predictable as a Rott and he is emotional as a German Shepard. He wants attention and cuddles, has no issues with other dogs and with cats.

| Vinkelhund |
![]() |
Vinkelhund (Vinkel means V-shaped steel and Hund is the German word for dog) was systemically beaten in front of a block in a distant Sofia residential district. The dog was most probably taken back to a wrong place after being neutered (in Bulgaria right now the stray population is being dealt with by municipality companies under the “Trap, Neuter and Release” program).
We took him away from there when we received a signal from a witness of the beating. It took a lot of effort to do so – find him after communicating with the beaters. He went through a regular medical check-up, right now he is vaccinated and parasite free; has a microchip and resides in a foster home.
Visible age – around 4 years. Cheerful, social with other animals, although it is a good idea to control eventual contacts with cats since he did not have enough experience with these animals and it is hard to judge whether he is OK with them. He is relatively well with people although, months after we took him away from the beaters, he is sometimes too reactive for small or no reasons – for example unexpected noise. He is sensitive and temperamental and still bears the traces of the trauma – complains and cries when a person raises a hand towards his head, without even touching him.
He is a great guard – reacts when a person passes by the fence of the yard he currently resides in. It is recommended that he lives outside – he himself prefers it this way. His hair coat is wonderful. He is not gluttonous – he cannot be treated with food which makes him an even better guard.
He currently resides with 3 pit-bulls and they developed wonderful relationships. He tolerates their play, which is sometimes a bit rough, and all the 3 other dogs simply adore him. As his foster mommy says, he is socially-universal towards other dogs. Just a bit harder with humans – he is sometimes startled for no obvious reason.
If someone wants to adopt him, they should bear in mind that this dog needs care and patience.

Sarah is a Bulgarian stray, about 5 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, very social and kind. She was taken care of by a person who passed away. After, other good people took care of her in an industrial yard. However, the owners of the company where the yard is change, new clients come, and the strays become an obstacle. We moved her in a hotel to prevent her killing.
She is very kissable and kind, searches for a human touch in a discreet manner, she is always smiling as you will see on the pictures. She is also quite bright – she learned how to walk on a leash for minutes and developed proper hygiene habits for a couple of days.
She is OK with dogs however may have issues with cats – contacts with cats should be avoided or under strict control.
